Some objects transcend their material worth and become bridges between souls. This is the story of a unique guitar: a silent witness to timeless songs and the shared confidant of two musicians who inspired generations. I was lucky enough to share friendship and youth with Pau Donés (Jarabe de Palo) and, through him, I recently discovered the music of Antonio Vega (Nacha Pop). In this short film, we embark on an emotional journey: the guitar Antonio gifted Pau in 2004, and our attempt, twenty years later, to bring it back to life. With the help of modern technology and three anonymous collaborators eager to embrace the experience, we reconstruct this instrument. The result is an intimate homage to music, friendship, and the invisible stories that remain forever suspended between the strings.
