Months of a global pandemic and social distancing have inspired artists to search within their inner world and share it. “Nothing” (“Nada”) is the result of a collaboration between rock band Velatoria and artist Kim Martín Humphrey. Amongst shadows, flowers, tears and dances, Martín offers a visual representation of a song that in some way foretold what is happening in these times.

EN: Kim Martín Humphrey (Madrid, Spain, 10/12/1993) is a visual and tattoo artist based in Madrid. Having completed her studies in Fine Arts by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, she uses a variety of mediums that all possess the quality of drawing as the anchor to her work, whether it may be in tattooing, commercial illustration, the contemporary art sphere and even animation. “Nothing” is her first work as a director. Tras sus estudios en Bellas Artes en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, utiliza una variedad de medios que poseen como columna vertebral las cualidades del dibujo, ya sea en adorno corporal, ilustración comercial, trabajando para la esfera del arte contemporáneo e incluso para animación. «Nada» es su primer trabajo como directora.
