For Shahar (30), the world sounds different. He suffers from Misophonia, a disorder that transforms everyday sounds like chewing or honking into a torture of rage and anxiety. The condition has already alienated him from his family and now threatens his relationship with his partner. The film follows his desperate, unsuccessful search for a cure, leading him to seek refuge in the silence of the desert town of Yeruham.
