One More Year

Xavi and Jaume are two men with opposite ways of facing life who meet by chance in a laundrette. Jaume loves celebrating birthdays and eagerly prepares his own celebration, despite having no one to share it with. Xavi, on the other hand, is surrounded by family and people who love him, yet he constantly complains and takes everything he has for granted. Their encounter confronts each of them with what he lacks and what the other fails to see, becoming an intimate reflection on loneliness, gratitude, and the importance of appreciating life and the people around us, because what we take for granted today may no longer be there tomorrow.
